Items not covered by insurance
The following items, although their carriage is not strictly forbidden, are not covered by any insurance, nor by the coverage established in the national or international legislation relating to transport, nor by our free insurance included in the shipment price, and they cannot be insured with additional cover either. If you wish to insure the aforementioned goods, we suggest that you take out insurance yourself.- Jewellery
- Money
- Precious stones or precious metals
- Laptops
- Plasma or LCD screens
- Porcelain
- Works of art
- Antiques
- Recordings, discs, memory cards or any other data or image storage device.
- Commercial samples.
- Collections.
- Containers.
- Bearer documents, whatever their origin / use (show tickets, restaurant vouchers, lottery, etc.).
- Musical instruments.
- Thread lace, embroidery or fabrics with fine metals and genuine silk lace.
- Perishable goods with a use-by date longer than 10 days, provided they do not require specific transport or storage conditions.
- Passports / ID cards.
- Live plants.
- Fine furs.
- Medical prescriptions.
- Vehicles and vessels, caravans or trailers of any kind, new and/or used.
- Flat glass, marble and sheet minerals.
- Damaged goods and machinery or goods returned to origin.
- Winning lottery and pools tickets.
